President of Mogulville, 2008 (completed)
See Film here

This was a short video I entered into a contest for a friend of mine at Indy Mogul. The contest was, whoever makes the best video of why they should be president, gets to be president of Mogulville for three months. I had built a green screen in my garage the year before and was eager to test it out. So we made a fake podium and wrote a few lines, and began filming. I did a lot of work on the details in this short thirty second video. I took photographs of the white house press room combined those with our green screen footage. I suprised my self with how good the final product was. This video was the only time I had ever got the green screen working properly.

I am Jedi, 2008 (completed)
See Film here

Another short video that was supposed to be a precursor to something much much bigger. We wanted to try our hand at lightsabers, and we were inspired by the short film, Ryan Vs. Dorkman which was an extremely well done lightsaber fight sequence. So One sunny day, we drove to the alley behind safeway and filmed a short video just to see what we could do. We all thought it was great, and we wanted more of it. So we set our eyes on a bigger prize...

I am Jedi - The Internet TV Series, 2008 (shelved)

The story behind I am Jedi was about a man who did not know that he was a jedi, and slowly began to peice togather his history, until edventually he figured out that he was a jedi. Each week we would have a five minute installment. The insperation for this came from both Indy Mogul and Black20. Both were shows that got quite a bit of recognition. So we thought we would hop on the band wagon. We were going to build this massive set on one of my friends property, which would be where the show primarily took place. The Ebon Hawk, was the key set. A starship a great deal like the Millenium Falcon. We figured out a way that we could build it on the cheep. Then things started to fall apart as we relized that we didn't have the Money and we most certainly didn't have the time. It was another great idea, but we didn't have the time, nor the resources. However, like always, I learned a great deal about filmmaking.

Sedition, 2009 (shelved)

Sedition tells the story of a resistance leader's last stand. It takes place in 2029 after the United States was slowly converted into the United Federation of Soviet States. The resistance tries to bring order back to the country and they believe that it can be acomplished by assasinating the Chancellor. It would have been an interesting movie to film. We began meeting with several people who all seemed to be perfect for their part. We scouted locations, and searched for new equipment. It was going to be our finest hour. The script was completely finished and we were ready to being filming. Beware, too much progress too fast, can result in regress. We never started production due to personel issues. Like I said befoer, the hardest aspect of filmmaking is to get people to do what they said they are going to do when they said they would do it. In other words, getting people to do anything out of their own volition is the bane of filmmaking.
